Editorial Policy
How reviews get written, checked and published.
Every review on CaratAdvice follows the same process: a fixed scoring rubric is set before we contact a retailer, research is conducted independently, and a second editor checks the draft before it publishes.
Retailers may respond publicly to a review and we will correct factual errors, but scores are not for sale or negotiation, and no retailer sees a review before it's published.
